3 to 1 over standard carbide insert plow bits. We decided to try the Razor XL System on a couple of Trucks last winter and had good results. After discussing it this fall we decided to expand our test to four Trucks an we are running those trucks side by side in the same locations with like trucks on the same section of roads. So far the results both last year and so far this year are showing that the Razor XL’s are lasting 3 to 1 over our carbide insert plow bits that we have used for years. If this continues it will be a significant savings in our yearly plow bit budget.
