Ohio Grant to Reduce Road Salt Impact on the Environment

Ohio has a new initiative called H2Ohio that is intended to reduce the environmental impact of road salt. Using too much salt causes runoff that gets into rivers, lakes, and groundwater which affects wildlife and our drinking water.

This initiative helps Ohio municipalities with a budget to improve road salt equipment but one piece of equipment you may not think of is your plow blade.
