If you recall, we recently exhibited at the APWA Snow & Ice Show 2018 in Indianapolis, Indiana. We’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth and Chill Zone to say hello.
This year’s show was full of new and interesting products and technologies, demonstrations, new and old colleagues, and tons of fun.
The APWA had a total of 185 exhibiting companies this year, with 10 New Product Showcase entries and 8 Exhibitor Solutions Theater presentations on the show floor.
In our opinion, the show winner was Force America’s SSC6100 Control System which is an integrated CAN Bus joystick and spreader controller that comes complete with a 10-inch color LCD, camera integration, and PreCise MRM cellular and GPS technologies.
Here are our top three highlights from the event.
We don’t want to brag, but our Chill Zone may have been the chillest of them all! Or the least chill, if you were involved in the hour-and-forty-five minute, intense game of giant Jenga that went down.
Andy and Rick from Seymour, Indiana took on Winter® Equipment’s Shay and Ray in the world’s toughest game of giant Jenga. In the end, Andy and Rick took the win and Shay and Ray graciously accepted defeat. Jenga was a huge hit this year!
Henderson Products had our Joma Articulating Blade on their display plow during the show. We were flattered and very grateful. Thank you to our friends at Henderson!
In our Chill Zone, we hosted a poker chip raffle to give attendees a chance to win a prize.
After an eagerly anticipated drawing, Aaron Francis with Deschutes County Oregon won the poker chip raffle and went home with an Amazon Echo Dot.
Alexa, congratulate Aaron on his win!
This year’s show was excellent and we’re eagerly anticipating next year’s Snow & Ice Show in Salt Lake City, Utah. After all, a Jenga rematch is already on the calendar.
