• The Razor® with Winter Carbide™ Cutting Edge System uses carbide blades with a steel cover. The cover design protects the carbide from damage or loss.
• The Vulcan V Cutting Edge System uses hardened boron steel (compatible with Fisher® XV2 8.5, Fisher® XV2 9.5, and Fisher® XV2 10 .5 if extensions are used). .

For blades with a longer lifespan, carbide provides enhanced wear resistance. With Tungsten carbide inserts, the resulting material is extra hard and therefore more durable.
