Commercial Territory Account Manager

The Territory Manager will strategically position and drive sales of various blade systems and products for our snow plows in an assigned territory to achieve company sales goals. The Territory Manager is expected to use professional sales techniques, develop and/or follow strategic plans, build relationships and provide market intelligence.

Experience Required

  • Mechanical Engineer Degree Preferred
  • 2+ Years of Sales and/or Business Development Required
  • Sales experience with Commercial, Contractors, Distributors, Dealers preferred
  • Must be willing to travel weekly across specified territories in the US
  • Experience with Visual Mfg, Hubspot, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred but not required

Sales Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales goals
  • Identify appropriate systems & products for prospects and existing customers
  • Provide assistance with systems installation for first time system customers
  • Forecasting and regional territory planning
  • Manage territory monthly reports, call reports, pictures of competitor blades, customer buying influence documents
  • Manage territory CRM opportunity management, sales forecasting and regional territory planning
  • Communication with inside sales team to ensure territory development
  • Cultivate customer base through daily in-person sales visits and sales phone calls
  • Follow-up with customers, manage the sales cycle and document accordingly
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales to generate quotes
  • Collaborate with Marketing on territory marketing campaigns
  • Develop case studies and referrals with key customers
  • Manage and display the territory trade show schedule
  • Manage customer issues, expectations and build customer relationships
  • Provide weekly sales expense reports to accounting for reconciling credit card charges while traveling

Sales Distributor Management

  • Develop territory Distributors and an annual Distributor business plan
  • Support Distributor with training, joint sales calls, presentations, and joint trade show attendance
