The 2010 Winter® “Santa’s Bikes for Kids” Program Success Story.
108 Bikes, 50 Winter Coats, With Hats & Gloves,
Along With Gifts of Clothing and Toys.
Employees from Winter® Equipment joined forces with employees of other area businesses, and generous individuals
to give 108 bikes to area children, with the help of The Salvation Army Lake County Chapter.
The Salvation Army expressed a need for kid’s winter jackets. So, “Santa’s Bikes For Kids” was expanded this year.
We donated 50 jackets, along with hats and gloves.
The Salvation Army also asked for our help with families that were having a difficult time financially this year.
We stepped up and played Santa, personally delivering a variety of much needed clothing and toys to their children.
Thank you to area companies, their employees and individuals who helped put smiles on the face Lake County kids this year.
It’s a gift they will always remember.
